Meet Our Team

Stefan Lalos comes to ektello with 30 years of consulting and investment banking experience. In 2001 he founded ITSolutions, a national consulting firm with over 1500 employees, which he sold in 2010 to a New York based private equity fund. Prior to ITSolutions, Stefan worked in investment banking, focusing on the government services industry for Wachovia and BB&T Capital Markets and his IT background includes 10 years of technology consulting and strategic analysis work at IBM, Andersen Consulting, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Stefan earned his MBA from Cornell University and a B.S. in Engineering from Clemson University. 

Andrew Watt, President and CEO, has 30 years of experience in the industry, building contract staffing businesses in all sectors and in 30 countries. Andrew’s previous two roles included Global COO for Futurestep, a Korn Ferry Company, and prior to that, he served 13 years as a senior executive with Kelly Services Inc., building and expanding their professional staffing businesses globally. Andrew is a graduate of The University of New Haven and has taken executive courses at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education and MIT.

Tony Travaglini has over 39 years of technical Information Technology experience. He’s served as CTO and CIO for over 24 years during his IT career – in addition to serving as Vice president of Trading Technologies for Shearson Lehman brothers systems administration for both Unix and Market Data Trading Systems during his tenure on Wall Street. Tony also managed the network and systems management group for Pepsi Cola before he founded Pivot Technologies Inc., where he served as president and CTO before selling the company in 1998 to publicly-traded company MTM Inc. and staying on as CTO before joining ITSolutions as CTO.  

John Vieceli has 30 plus years in Human Resources and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Central Michigan University. His experience includes 11 years as head of HR at Morley Candy Makers, in addition to growing and building the HR teams from the ground up at two previous companies.  In his 9th year at ektello, John continues to grow the reach of human resources and strives for smooth Administration of ektello’s business affairs.

Mary Stapleton has 32 years of staffing experience with 22 years of specialization in Creative, Digital, and Marketing placements. In 2013, Mary joined ektello to build the Creative, Digital, and Marketing division from scratch. With a team of dedicated recruiters, the division grew quickly and exponentially while adding prestigious brands one at a time. Additionally, Mary’s consultative approach enables her to develop long-lasting client relationships which continue to thrive over the years.

Dan Catlin has over 20 years in the staffing industry, in addition to experience as an entrepreneur and in the non-profit sector. Dan has managed $100 million P&L’s for Kelly Services and Talent Tree (Rentokil Initial), with a focus on IT and large account relationships, always focusing on growing people as well as business. In his seventh year at ektello, Dan continues to focus on developing our staff and services to serve both our clients and our talent. Dan graduated with distinction from the United States Naval Academy and served as an officer in the Navy prior to his business career.

Chrystal Merriam comes to ektello with a background in the marketing and creative space and brings her valuable insight into both her client’s skill-focused job needs, and the talent’s career goals.  Joining ektello in 2013, Chrystal helped build out the Digital, Creative & Marketing vision and now leads a team of successful recruiters who specialize in Digital, Creative, Marketing, and IT. Prior to joining ektello she worked in marketing and advertising as a Sr. Marketing Manager on both the client and agency side where she gained her knowledge and love of the creative field. Chrystal calls the Greater Orlando area home and holds a Digital Marketing Graduate Certification from Full Sail University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida.

Scott Miller joined ektello in 2015 in a Sales & Account Management role where he successfully built a portfolio of both large and enterprise-sized clients. Currently, Scott leads a team within Operations, in which he is working with our current partners to develop both short- and long-term strategies for their staffing needs. Prior to joining ektello, Scott was the General Manager of an advertising media company, Clear Channel Airports. He resides in Detroit and received his B.A. from Western Michigan University.
